This site illustrates the types of web output that are available from HAL's Race Results.
Basically there are two types: dynamic pages using the Club Results Service and static pages you generate locally and then upload to your site.
HAL's Club Results Service
This is the easiest way to get your results onto the web. With one click they are uploaded from your computer to the HAL server, from where they are merged into your site. Your web master has to set up a link, which is a one-off operation, then every time you upload new results you get to them by following the link. If requested the system will also send emails incorporating the link to race participants. If you don't have a link, there is a control page where you can find your results.
Alternatively your web master can merge results into a page on your site, so that they appear to be an integral part of that page.
You can sign up for the Club Results Service from the control page. Once you have your account, you can set the colours used on the pages and upload your own banner to show across the top.
To upload results you first point HAL to the right account using the Setup screen and then use the Club Results Service screen to upload them.
Static pages
HAL can also generate web pages as static HTML files that you upload to your site. As soon as you have printed your results, you can make web pages and upload them, using whatever tool you normally use to put material onto your site. In addition HAL can produce an index to your results with links to all the individual series and races.
HAL can make a static web page of virtually anything that it can print on paper. So you can upload things like the race schedule, or boat lists, or the starting order for a persuit race.
